We’re looking for skilled engineers with their own sole proprietorship to join our Embedded Pool. This isn’t typical freelancing, you’ll work directly with our internal teams and clients on long-term, high-impact projects.

You must have a registered Enkeltpersonforetak (sole proprietorship) in Norway.

Once you submit your interest, we will carefully review your résumé. If we see a potential fit for our clients' needs, we will invite you for a conversation about the types of projects, industries, roles, and environments that suit you best.
If there’s mutual interest, we will sign a framework agreement outlining how we collaborate. This serves as the foundation for all future project-specific contracts.
We will then promote your expertise across our client network and work actively to match your skills with client needs.
When a project is secured, we will sign a specific project contract detailing your hourly rate, project scope (timeline, location, role, responsibilities), and other key elements. Then you're ready to begin!

We manage all administrative formalities with the client on your behalf.
You’ll have access to our in-house technical experts for sparring and problem-solving support.
We invite you to join our internal social events and tech talks to grow your network and stay inspired.
You’ll also have access to legal, IT, finance, accounting, and HR support services if needed.

Absolutely. When you are not engaged in a project through us, you are free to take on work from other clients.
While actively engaged in a client project via Akkodis, we expect full professional commitment to that assignment during agreed working hours.

Most assignments run between 6 months and 2 years, but both shorter and longer projects occur depending on the client's needs.

We will continue to actively search for new project opportunities for you.
In the meantime, you are free to pursue other projects unrelated to Akkodis Embedded Pool if you wish.

You are responsible for providing your own IT equipment (laptop and phone).
You must have appropriate insurance coverage for your freelance work.

Short-term sickness is completely understood; however, as a self-employed consultant, you are responsible for covering any sick days.
If a situation arises requiring you to pause or terminate your assignment, we will collaborate with the client to find the best solution.

You will invoice Akkodis Nordics directly, typically on a monthly basis.
Our standard payment term is 30 days from the date of a correctly issued invoice, unless otherwise agreed in the project-specific contract.
Your hourly rate and any other financial terms will be clearly outlined and locked in the project contract.
